Overview:
The Operations Director is responsible for the daily operational and organizational management of the North East Region in the US marketThis role will directly manage multiple offices P&L to accomplish profitability and growth objectives in an efficient and high quality mannerIn addition, this role will recruit, develop and motivate staff to provide a world class customer experience and meet or exceed client expectationsIt is important that the individual in this role provides all stations with the necessary tools in place to succeed and expand their business levels in both domestic and international product line in a sustained fashionIt is expected that this role partners with corporate operations and the product team to implement and execute corporate strategy within the region and building upon the One Team, One Vision approach regionally.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily P&L management of region, and ensure necessary tools, processes and metrics are in place to ensure growth, service and profitability goals accomplishedRecruit, hire, train, and develop the team to ensure company expectations are met and manage underperformance as necessaryConduct weekly 1:
1's in order to effectively coach, develop and motivate the team through performance KPI's, metrics and goalsBe active in sales pipeline management & sales calls to client to develop revenueSupport solution development in order to execute and deliver to the client's expectations in order to exceed growth objectives in both international and domestic productsInternal networking and partnership amongst the vertical and corporate functionsAlign on sales strategy with the Reginal Sales Director in partnership to meet and exceed our budget expectationsDevelop and execute the North East Region's operational & cultural strategy of AITOther duties and responsibilities will be assigned as the business demands deem necessary
Qualifications:
Education QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent RequiredBachelor's Degree or work experience equivalent PreferredExperience Qualifications3
years Multi-station P&L experience Required10
years Experience with diversified freight forwarding products including domestic, international and logistics Required15
