Procurement Account Specialist -FCDP

The Procurement Account Specialist demonstrates an advanced understanding of the UTC aerospace business & supply chain and plays a key role in interfacing with the UTC internal and external customers to lead, coordinate, and implement procurement activities. This individual plays a key role in the organization as the focal point responsible for all procurement aspects associated with assigned suppliers. Specific responsibilities include PO purchasing, spot buys, and requisition processing. Additionally responsible for supplier performance monitoring and assessment, including Six-Pack reviews and Supplier Gold, leveraging the supply chain playbooks and working with the delivery assurance team to ensure the timely delivery of parts. Assists the supplier corrective action and transition processes.
Skills required:
Understand ACE operating system and process improvement tools (e.g. standard work, value stream management, passport process, quality clinic process charts, relentless root cause analysis, 5S).
Understand the basics of supply chain management, including inventory management, manufacturing resources planning (MRP), demand planning, and capacity management, to get the right materials to the right place, at the right time.
BS/BA degree in business, operations management, engineering or related field. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is expected and exposure to JDE MRP systems is a plus. Applicants should have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. ACE associate status is a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
