Quality Engineer

Provide direct Quality Engineering support for Assembly and Test of Mechanical Engine Systems (MES) products and assemblies for various aircraft applications. Responsibilities include all activities focused on driving improvements and ZERO defects with relation to FTTY, OTD, COPQ, Escape, NCM and CRM Management, Internal Auditing and compliance to all regulatory requirements such as AS9100, CFR14 and internal process procedures in line with business objectives. In addition, provide direct support on new programs and product development initiatives for GTA524, JFC215, GTA525, RR and PWC, such as SOW Reviews, Product Development and Design Reviews, Control Builds, FAI, Op Book and C-Sheets, interface with departmental ME( 9s for tooling and other process requirements.
Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline Minimum of six (6) years experience in a related field. Candidate must have continually demonstrated knowledge and successful application of Quality initiatives and problem solving tools and/or techniques in a dynamic business environment. Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred. Must have the ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization and control. Highly effective team player desired with strong communication and influential skills performing in a cross functional matrix reporting environment. Candidate must have proficiency in MS-Office applications and familiarity with 8D, RCCA and PFMEA/DFMEA.
Aggressive, highly motivated and a self starter that has a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth/developmental opportunities. Must be able to demonstrate ability and willingness to own quality performance metrics and drive various quality initiatives.
