The e- Procurement group for UTC Aerospace Systems is seeking an e- Procurement Manager responsible for a variety of technical processes for the organization, with an emphasis on report writing and Business Objects. In this role, this individual must have strong analytical skills necessary to translate customer needs to IT business requirements. Elements include design and deployment of enterprise reports that can be easily used by the end customer.
Bachelor s degree required in any related discipline.
The candidate must have a bachelor s degree with preferably 5 years of business experience. In addition, the candidate should have demonstrated project management skills necessary to manage complex processes that cross several functional areas. This experience should include system design, development, testing and implementation strategies. The candidate must have strong interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, be self-motivated, and results driven.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the JD Edwards ERP system, however, SAP experience would be a plus. Experience with Business Objects, SQL ,along with strong Microsoft product skills, is essential.
Travel for this position is minimal.
