Seeking solid knowledge of plastic injection molding and tool making, design, developing and testing in a manufacturing environment to optimize performance of injection molding presses and equipment, drive continuous inprovement processes and take proactive approach to injection molding production lines.
Activities:
Set-up, adjusting and troubleshooting machines, complex tools and molds in production.
Analyzing, calculating and developing the set up and operation of various molding machines, tooling, tolerances, feeds and speeds.
Tracing manufacturing problems to their source and developing and implementing solutions.
Trouble shooting molds.
Assisting engineers with the development of processes, new tooling and designing products for manufacturability.
