The UTAS Power, Controls, and Sensing Systems (PCSS) ACE office is seeking a high-energy individual to work in the Central ACE Program Office to drive sustainable improvements to our business results through the use of the ACE Operating System tools and methodologies.Support deployment of the UTC ACE Operating System throughout business units in the Power, Controls, and Sensing Systems (PCSS) segment of UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS) which will lead to best-in-class (ACE Gold) performance.Responsibilities will include:- Gaining a deep understanding of ACE tools and methodologies applied in both business and manufacturing environments and working toward becoming a recognized ACE Practitioner/ACE Master- Participating in ACE assessments and demonstrating proper application and interpretation of the ACE criteria leading to certified ACE Silver/Gold assessor- Driving Lean Manufacturing Transformations in key PCSS manufacturing sites- Leading Kaizen events including Value Stream Mapping, Mfg Standard Work and Cell Design, 5S, TPM, Process Certification, Relentless Root Cause Analysis, Set Up Reduction, and Benchmarking- Creating and updating standard work for ACE Program Office processes and supporting existing ACE systems and procedures- Coaching and mentoring sites within our business on their ACE journey.- Recognizing and leveraging best practices and bringing them to the ACE Program Office for implementation- Developing employees in their ACE / continuous improvement skill set- Supporting key business improvement projects which drive cost, efficiency, quality, and leanLevel of Responsibility:- Has responsibility for supporting all facets of ACEprogression within a UTAS business unit or site- Will assist in development of plans to enable ACE Gold performance- Will interface directly with site Executives/Management to positively influence and lead ACE culture, tools use, and competency improvement- Accountable for delivering results within department budgeting and staffing levels
