Candidate for this position will require working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), (DoD 52220.22.M) which is the baseline for protecting and safeguarding classified information and systems. Candidate will have management oversight of the Center of Excellence providing administrative support for the UTAS Government Security Organization in Windsor Locks, CT, Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Pomona, CA and Rockford, IL. Responsibilities will include processing Department of Defense and Special Program government security clearances, digital fingerprinting, maintaining and handling classified information, processing classified and unclassified visit authorizations. The position will require monitoring and conducting weekly security audits of the Electronic Communications Plan. Respond to deficiencies/findings discovered during audits to non-compliant employees and follow up with appropriate corrective actions. Conduct daily audits of the Foreign National Sign In/Out process. Investigate non-compliant employees and follow up with appropriate corrective actions. The position will require maintaining daily activities of an office environment (i.e. maintaining Security files, answering all incoming inquiries e-mail, phone, fax, etc.) including managing daily employees request for classified visits and providing security guidance in marking and protection of classified material to assure compliance with government regulations. Oversee and manage the JPAS and eQIP systems to insure timely and accurate submittals of personnel security clearances to the government. Candidate must be a team player and be able to adapt to working in a rapidly changing business requirements.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree 3 - 4 years of experience required Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. A working knowledge or experience utilizing JPAS and eQIP systems preferred. Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills both verbal and written. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance. Employment is subject to clearances being approved and granted.
