Seeking Quality Engineer with expertise in validation of equipment and processes for injection molding as well as advanced metrology skills.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Measure and report on the variation of the process itself and the variation of the measurement system.
Study, analyze and report on the behavior of gauges with particular respect to: Repeatability; Reproducibility; Stability and Bias.
Decipher affects of stock, tool and equipment and their geometry and configuration on gauges and instruments and develop setup and operating procedures accordingly.
Hands-on test ability with testing of: instrument resolution, gauge linearity, geometric anomolies, operator biases and predictable uncertainties.
Develop and execute independent procedures that are used together for checking that a product, service, or system meets requirements and specifications and that it fulfills its intended purpose
Act as primary contact for customer complaints; determine unacceptable levels of product non-conformance or unstable trends in process monitoring. Document and report all major issues to manufacturing, engineering and upper management.
