Summary:
The primary purpose of the work is to analyze and evaluate maintenance operations, production, and procedures; and make recommendations for improvement. This requires practical knowledge of, and skill in applying, principles, concepts, and methods of surface maintenance equipment, facilities, and service operations. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Connecticut Army National Guard. The major duties include, but are not limited to:
Analyzes and resolves a variety of conventional maintenance management problems to improve existing maintenance operations, production, and practices that impact the overall maintenance program. Establishes methods and procedures to ensure maintenance tasks performed meet or exceed established policies and regulations. May serve as a member of the Command Maintenance Evaluation Team (COMET). Oversees and provides technical guidance regarding Class IX (Class 9) repair parts management; develops policy and procedures; and evaluates and revises, as needed. Establishes and monitors the shop safety and health program. GENERAL
Experience:
Experience which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of equipment maintenance work, or skill in reading engineering drawings and specifications, using test instruments, making computations, and keeping records. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Your resume and any other supporting documentation you wish to provide must clearly substantiate you currently possess 24 months of specialized experience in the following:
Experience in applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient in designing projects or planning assignments. Experience using well-established occupational methods and techniques to determine facility, grounds, equipment overhaul, maintenance, restoration, repair needs, etc. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of, and skill in applying, principles, concepts, and methods involving maintenance equipment, facilities, and service operations. Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methods of maintenance management sufficient to provide advice, assistance, and guidance to shop personnel. Knowledge of the full range of maintenance shop standards, policies, regulations, and methods sufficient to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance management, repair, and training; and the need for improving existing practices that impact the overall maintenance program. Knowledge of and ability to oversee maintenance management programs, material readiness programs, cost reduction programs, and maintenance shop practices. Ability to facilitate and/or offer classroom training, as needed. COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
